For the duration of the Tour de France (July 7-29), participants will track their miles for a chance to be crowned "Top Cyclist" and qualify for a variety of prizes! Eligible miles can be earned during leisurely rides with the family, competitive cycling events, the Flex Fitness Indoor Cycling classes at the Community Recreation Center, or during cardio workouts at the Recreation or Senior Center. All you need is a way to track your cycling miles (fitness watch or app tracker), present those miles to the fitness staff and we will track your progress for you.

The Junior Lifeguard Program introduces participants to skills needed for entry to the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course. Participants will learn communications and decision-making skills, and the basic responsibilities of a lifeguard. The program does NOT certify participants in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course. Participants must pass basic swimming skills test on the first day of class. Bring swim suit, towel, change of clothes and lunch. Participants will have a chance to shadow a lifeguard on the last day of class. A lunch break will be provided.
