It is never too early to learn about William Shakespeare! Children can learn all about Shakespeare’s history, plays, and language at this interactive event provided by Shakespeare Unlocked. Professional actors will perform scenes from Romeo and Juliet and The Taming of the Shrew, teach kids how to decode Shakespeare’s verses, and show off period costumes like those worn by the original players.

Then join the Library as we lead a casual panel discussion with local Shakespeare enthusiasts at The Wild Detectives in the Bishop Arts district. We will these concepts and more, as well as the role that Shakespeare plays in the lives of the characters of Station Eleven.
