The Farmers Branch Manske Library may be closed for a few more weeks, but some Library services are still available.
The Library shut its doors May 14 for a major renovation that will include new shelving, new carpets and a new front façade. The project will bring the entire building into ADA compliance and the work is progressing quickly.
One of the interesting new features will be an 'Innovation Zone' just inside the main entrance, where guests will be able to come together and create. It will include artisan tables built from bowling alley floors. (Left)
The Library will remain closed through late June. During this time, materials will be unavailable for checkout and/or return on-site, but no overdue fines will accrue and all pending due dates and account renewals will be extended until the building reopens.
In addition, Library staff and volunteers are busy bringing Library services to the community. Call 972.247.2511 for more information.
