FBTX ~ In an effort to further the community-building that is promoted every year, the Farmers Branch Police Department is planning to observe National Night Out on Tuesday, October 6, but with coronavirus safety measures in place.
Neighborhoods are encouraged to stage small gatherings of no more than 10 people, outdoors where six feet of social distancing can be observed. Face coverings should be worn by all attendees. It is recommended that residents over 65 and those with underlying health conditions not attend.
Those hosting a NNO party are asked to register their gathering with the Police Department at 972.919.9304. Registered parties will be visited by members of the Police and Fire Departments and other City officials as possible under COVID-19 protocols.
