Dallas County requires face coverings in businesses & public buildings

FBTX ~ The Dallas County Commissioners Court has approved a measure now requiring all persons over the age of 10 to wear a mask or face covering in businesses & public buildings..

Although a strong recommendation until now, the new order mandates face coverings. The Centers for Disease Control urges face coverings for people over the age of 2.

According to County documents, face coverings do not need to worn when exercising or engaging in physical activity outside, when driving alone or with passengers in the same household, while pumping gas or operating outdoor equipment, when consuming food or drink or while in a building or activity that require security surveillance or screening, like banks.

Social distancing and frequent hand-washing are still strongly advised.
