Fleet and warehouse operations take up residence at new service center

New City fleet service center

FBTX ~ After years of planning and construction, the City’s new Keenan Service Center quietly began operations this week at 13333 Davis Court.

On Monday morning Fleet and NAPA Warehouse operations completed their move from the 50+-year-old, undersized and outdated Senlac Service Center to the new facility, located in the shadow of the west side water tower. The $7.8 million project consists of a 16,900 square foot building with a central warehouse, four mechanics bays, restrooms, a break/training room, police remote office and an office for the Fleet Operations Manager. Solid Waste trucks and crews also stage out of this building before and after their routes are completed.
