[ARCHIVED] Council approves $124 million budget for new fiscal year

FBTX ~ The Farmers Branch City Council Tuesday night approved the City Manager's proposed $124 million balanced budget for the 2019-2020 Fiscal Year, holding the property tax rate steady at 59.95-cents for every $100 of appraised property value.

   The new budget emphasizes investment in public safety, infrastructure and equipment needed to continually improve service to citizens. The new fiscal year begins October 1.
