Experience NEW hands-on, interactive school tours at the Farmers Branch Historical Park with your students!
Structures and activities include:
A historic lesson in the 1910 one-room school house
Tour an 1840s log cabin homestead, card cotton, and participate in a hands-on demonstration in the blacksmith shed
Homestead garden instruction by the Dallas County Master Gardeners

Register for grade level appropriate field trips now!
Carrollton/Farmers Branch ISD and schools within Farmers Branch city limits can begin registering on August 1, and all other schools can begin registration on August 8. Tours include take home goodies for students and teachers, are themed with custom options available, and led by trained docents in period costumes. Teachers can choose which buildings to tour, to lunch in the park and/or to visit the museum store.
Fee:
All tours are $3 per child.
