Friday | July 2 | 6:30 - 10 p.m. | Farmers Branch Historical Park
One of our best events of the year, the annual Independence Day Celebration is a rockin' party and fireworks display that has fun for the whole family. We provide one of the few, low-level firework shows in North Texas and it'll leave you saying "wow!" The 2021 Independence Day Celebration coincides with the City of Farmers Branch 75th Anniversary so we are throwing a big party.
Thank you to Dallas Medical Center and Mustang Station for their sponsorship of the event.
June 12 | 6 - 10 p.m. | NEW Location: The Grove at Mustang Station
On Saturday, June 12, it’s a night dedicated to the ladies of rock as the award-winning Denton Drive Live concert series features PriMadonna – the country’s premier Madonna tribute band, and Even It Up – THE most authentic HEART tribute band in the Southwest! You and your peeps will be singing all night long to every song from each these Rock and Roll Hall of Fame hitmakers! The event is free and takes place at The Grove at Mustang Station – lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. Come thirsty and hungry - there will be food, beer, and wine for sale from Nuevo Leon Mex Mex, and shaved ice from Tikiz. Bring the kiddos, we’ve got soccer darts, a face painter and a balloon artist. The family-friendly evening will run from 6 – 10 p.m. The Grove at Mustang Station is located at 12700 Denton Drive.
May 29 | 5 - 10:30 p.m. | Farmers Branch Historical Park
Considering the safety and well-being of the general public and accessing the Farmers Branch Historical Park grounds condition, the City of Farmers Branch has decided to cancel Family Night in the Park on Saturday, May 29. Due to the heavy rain from earlier this week and predicted rain on Friday, May 28, the Farmers Branch Historical Park will be too wet to host the event.
Please mark your calendars for our next Family Night for Saturday, August 21.
Oct 15 & 16 | 4:30 - 10 p.m. & 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. | Farmers Branch Historical Park
Experience one of the top bluegrass events right here in Farmers Branch! The Farmers Branch Historical Park, a picturesque museum in a park experience, allows you to walk through Texas history while being able to listen to bluegrass music! Not only will you hear music from some of the hottest bands in bluegrass, but you’ll also get to witness the unique experience of jam sessions throughout the Park. The jam sessions are event patrons showcasing their musical talent at various spots throughout the Park. The main stage and Grassroots stage add to the unique experience by featuring the best in national and local musicians in traditional and progressive Bluegrass along with offerings of Americana and country sounds.
At The Branch Connection, we annually celebrate our veterans at our Veterans Day Celebration! We honor them with a patriotic ceremony, a performance from the World War II Museum's Victory Belles, and an All-American lunch.
