Victorian Fencing Demonstration

The Victorian Fencing Society will be offering free demonstrations in the Old Church and/or on the lawn of the Queen Anne Victorian Cottage. Come and watch, learn, and practice the late 19th century art of swordplay with foils and sabres.  Gentlemen and ladies of all ages are encouraged to come and enjoy. No experience is necessary and safety equipment is provided.

During this three-hour themed workshop, artists will explore acrylic and watercolor paints with their own pre-drawn canvas. Each artist will decide the journey of their masterpiece.  BYOB limited to one bottle of wine or two beers per person.  Ages 21 and up only, must bring ID.  Masks and social distancing are required.

Join the Historical Park in stuffing birthday boxes for Metrocrest Social Services.   Items needed are:  signed birthday cards, brownie/cookie/cake mixes, icing, candles, and napkins.

If you have donations, but the dates/times above do not work for you, the Historical Park will be accepting donations through March 28.  Please call the office to schedule a drop off time.

Artists will explore different textures with paint and materials found in nature to create a swirly landscape. Inspired by The Starry Night, painted by Vincent Van Gogh. Looking for a way to celebrate mom? Join us for the 4th annual Mums & Sons: A Picnic in the Park. Activities include lawn games, crafts, and a bug scavenger hunt. Fun for all ages!
Lite lunch fare will be served. Outdoors at the Historical Park picnic table area by the Caboose.
