First Saturday Tour: Family Date Night!
June 1 | 6 – 8 pm (come & go)
Take a break from the heat and join us for a free First Saturday during Date Night in the Park from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Learn how to "Break the Morse Code" and tour the Original 1877 Farmers Branch Depot and Caboose.
Chalk the Historical Park
Sunday | June 2 | 1 – 4 pm (come & go)
Is there a budding artist in the family? Have them leave their mark in chalk in the designated area at the Historical Park. Chalk provided.
First Friday: Bug Buddies!
Friday | June 7 | 10 am – 12 pm
$2 per person, space is limited and pre-registration is required
Make bug buddies, enjoy creepy-crawly bug themed crafts, and more!
First Friday will take a summer break in July and August and will resume in September. Ages 3 – 6; parents/guardians must stay on-site
The Victorian Fencing Society will be offering free demonstrations. Come and watch, learn and practice the late 19th century art of swordplay with foils and sabres. Gentleman and ladies of all ages are encouraged to come and enjoy. No experience is necessary.
Scavenger Hunt in the Historical Park: Nature
