Love is in the air at the Historical Park! Stroll through our structures and stop to see famous scenes from Shakespeare’s most romantic works performed. Before your stroll, enjoy hors d’ oeuvres, champagne or sparkling cider, and end your stroll by taking a photo of you and your Valentine in the Old Church to add to our “love line”.

All levels of Girl Scouts will have fun in this workshop as the Historical Park fosters critical thinking and provides activities that promote changing the world for the better.
Enjoy self-guided activities that celebrate Girl Scout World Thinking Day and promote critical thinking to inspire attendees to make the world a better place. Thinking Day fun patch available in the Museum Store for $2 after activities are completed.

Join the Farmers Branch Historical Park for an all ages Bird Walk. In addition to exploring the Historical Park and related areas, examining bird species and habitats, the Bird Walk also includes counting for the Great Backyard Bird Count, an annual event which helps to map the distribution and abundance of birds across the world. The Great Backyard Bird Count is February 14-17, 2020. Visit gbbc.birdcount.org for more information. Bird enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Guests are invited to bring binoculars, but are discouraged from bringing pets.
