Camping Under the Stars 


Registration begins on Monday, February 3 at 8 am


Fee: $50 per family/campsite (limited to 15 sites/75 campers); optional $5 per VIP nature experience  (March 28 from 9 – 11 am).  Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Event begins at 5 pm on Friday, March 27 and ends at 9 am on Saturday, March 28.  An optional VIP nature experience is available from 9 - 11 am.

Shakes

Strolling Through Shakespeare

Thursday, February 13 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm


Ages:  16 and up; Ages 21 and up for alcohol (must present ID)
Fee:  $15 per person or $25 per pair/$10 per person or $20 per pair for Friends of the Farmers Branch Historical Park members - call the Historical Park at 972.406.0184 for discount; space is limited and pre-registration required

Love is in the air at the Historical Park!  Stroll through our structures and stop to see famous scenes from Shakespeare’s most romantic works performed.  Before your stroll, enjoy hors d’ oeuvres, champagne or sparkling cider, and end your stroll by taking a photo of you and your Valentine in the Old Church to add to our “love line”.

Bird Walk

Cancelled: Bird Walk: Bird Counting 101 


Saturday, February 8 from 9 to 10 am


Space is limited and pre-registration is required

Join the Farmers Branch Historical Park for an all ages Bird Walk. In addition to exploring the Historical Park and related areas, examining bird species and habitats, the Bird Walk also includes counting for the Great Backyard Bird Count, an annual event which helps to map the distribution and abundance of birds across the world. The Great Backyard Bird Count is February 14-17, 2020. Visit gbbc.birdcount.org for more information. Bird enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Guests are invited to bring binoculars, but are discouraged from bringing pets.
