Comprehensive Plan

The City of Farmers Branch is in the process of working on the Eastside Comprehensive Plan. Our Comprehensive Plan, is a vision and road map for the City's Eastside. The plan will help guide decisions and where to make capital investments in regards to infrastructure and public amenities.

Get Involved

We invite you to reach out to us with comments, questions, or other input. If you are a member of a group or organization that would like to provide specific and focused input let us know and we’ll set a mutually convenient date, time, and place for you to do so.

The City has formed an Advisory Committee to provide feedback on the goals, recommendations, and strategies that will be developed throughout the Comprehensive Plan process. The Committee will attend community events and project meetings as needed as part of their responsibility.

Farmers Branch On The Map

As part of the Comprehensive Planning process, we've partnered with Google, to help put "Farmers Branch On The Map". This initiative is aimed at business owners located in the Eastside and throughout the entire to city, to make sure their business has an online presence. Google is teaming up with local leaders to create a program–all with the singular focus of getting local business info online and on the map. Our city now has a website that businesses can visit for help. They can see how they show up on Google and build a free website of their own (free for one year). Please follow this link to learn more.
