Christmas in the Branch

November 25 - December 30, 2016

The 2016 edition of this animated light show will return bigger than ever! The Tour of Lights drive through, with over half a million flashing lights, is one of North Texas' longest animated shows.

There will be festive holiday music and the grand finale show that will include Santa Claus himself! The Tour begins at Valley View Lane and Interstate 35, continues south on Denton Drive, and through the Farmers Branch Historical Park. Admission is free, donations accepted.

The tour begins on the Friday after Thanksgiving and continues until December 30. With the wonderful help from our local non-profits, we are able to host the Historical Park portion of the driving tour every night between those dates, which in turn provides the opportunity to drive-through the dancing lights (with the exception of the first Saturday in December and Christmas Day).

Follow us on Facebook for weather updates @farmersbranchspecialevents and tune into 107.3 FM during the drive!

Another Farmers Branch tradition is the lighting of our Christmas tree. The night is filled with a visit from Santa, an amazing low-level fireworks show, fun activities for the children, tours inside the historical structures (that are appropriately decorated to their respected years Christmas'), and of course some hot chocolate and cookies to keep you warm!
