Public Health Information
The Dallas County Health & Human Services Department conducts the following clinics, which are available to Farmers Branch residents.

Immunizations Clinic
This clinic is conducted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2774 Valwood Parkway (between Josey Lane and Dennis Lane). No appointment is required. For more information about the program, call 972.241.2684.

Well Child Clinic
The clinic is conducted at 2774 Valwood Parkway by appointment only. Call 972.241.2684 to schedule an appointment.

Senior Clinic
This clinic is conducted on the first Monday of each month from 8 a.m. to Noon at 14055 Dennis Lane (Farmers Branch Senior Center). Basic medical reviews, hemoglobin checks, blood sugar checks and blood pressure screening are provided.

Additional Services
  • The Health Department does blood pressure and glucose checks the second Monday of every month from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  • The Farmers Branch Fire Department does blood pressure checks the first Monday of every month from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
  • Hearing screenings are done by the American Hearing Lab on the third Wednesday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Additional public health services (tuberculosis control, sexually transmitted disease control, communicable disease control, and laboratory services to support these programs) are available to Farmers Branch residents at the Dallas County Health & Human Services Department building at 2377 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas (southbound service road between Motor and Wycliff exits).
