FBTX ~ After nearly five years of work and partnership from the City of Farmers Branch, and eight months of construction, the new Farmers Branch Primary Care medical clinic is now open to the community at 13000 Josey Lane.

The clinic side of the 5,000 square-foot building soft-opened earlier this month. The other side of the building will be home to the Baylor, Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation which will be open in the next few weeks.

Although created partially as a means of promoting wellness for City employees, the clinic is open to the public. Farmers Branch Primary Care expects to provide for acute and chronic illnesses for all ages, wellness exams, in-house x-ray, lab services, school physicals, vaccinations and more.

Officials expect the facility to hold a grand opening ceremony in late June.
