KFBB to collect textiles at March 7 Shredding Event at City Hall.

Web Shredding Event edit

FBTX ~ Along with the Shredding Event, Keep Farmers Branch Beautiful will again hold a simultaneous textile recycling event at Farmers Branch City Hall on March 7 from 9 a.m. until noon.

Residents are encouraged to drop off any surplus textiles, including clothing, linens, curtains and any other fabric products in any condition. Shoes, backpacks, belts and purses are also accepted.

A document destruction truck will be on site for shredding of personal documents in real time. There is no cost to participate, but truck capacity is limited so early arrival is recommended. The event will close before 12 p.m. if the truck is full.
