FBTX ~ The federal government may be closed, but taxes are still due. As such, the AARP Tax Help desk at the Farmers Branch Manske Library is now open every Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. through tax season.

   Trained tax aides from AARP will be in the Library's meeting room to answer tax questions and provide free tax preparation and electronic filing assistance. Residents are asked to bring all necessary documents, including last year's tax return and all forms for this year's tax return. No registration is necessary.
